Dog gone it!

We all know how important it is to include pets as members of the family.  Unfortunately no pets have been trained to use our modern facilities when the urgency arrives.  This can lead to unsightly stains and odors that are often difficult and embarrassing to live with.

At Enviro-Green Carpet Cleaning,  we are experts in Pet Stain and Odor removal.  Many of our competitors simply use deodorizers as a temporary treatment.  The problem with this method is that it only masks the problem.  While alleviating our senses, your pet can still clearly detect the soiled area.  Dogs and cats urinate for a variety of reasons, including stress, urinary urgency and marking territory.   They tend to return to previously soiled areas in an effort to increase the making of territories.  Deodorizers, while pleasant, do not alleviate the problem.

In  an area that is affected by urine, the moisture evaporates leaving behind ammonia and uric acid.  the uric acid then binds to the carpet fiber and is reactivated each time the carpeting is damp or when humidity levels are sufficient to reactivate the uric acid.

Our process includes an enzyme applied to the urine affected areas.  This enzyme essentially unbinds the uric acid acid from the carpet fiber allowing for removal.  We also apply an organic stain treatment that removes the ammonia component of urine that causes the discoloration of your carpeting.  Provided that the ammonia has not bleached the carpeting it can be treated.  The urine affected areas are then ready for hot water extraction with our truck mounted steam cleaner which reaches a temperature of 220 degrees.

Effective removal of uric acid and ammonia are the only true methods to permanently remove the odors and stains.  At Enviro-Green Carpet Cleaning we employ the latest solutions in cleaning your carpeting or upholstery.  Our pet stain and odor solutions are available in Homer Glen, Frankfort, Orland Park and throughout the southwestern suburbs of Chicago.  Call us today at (708) 465-4852
